From my own flight training experience I can guess what happened to this plane and the famous Kennedy couple, it makes me very sad. Flying is very dangerous especially for a new pilot with no hood training flying vfr. The most likely cause of this crash is that as they approached Martha's Vineyard in the dark of night that haze and fog obscured all vision of any ground reference of the horizon and it is normal them that the pilot will turn the aircraft up side down thinking he is right side up, a result of vertigo. Try to standup on one foot with your eyes closed and both arms out stretched. You will fall in seconds. When the airplane starts to lose altitude, the pilot will pull back on the control only to pull the plane into a steep inverted dive into the ground or water in this case. Hitting the water at maybe 200 mph is like hitting the earth and no one survives. I was soloed for visual flight rules and I had many close calls as a result. I flew through thunder storms being lost and a variety of danger that could have taken my life and others during my first years of flying. No person should fly solo I believe until they have had training under the hood teaching them to trust and fly by instruments especially the artificial horizon that will keep a plane flying. It takes 10hours to break a person from the need to look out the window to keep the wings level. JFK should have had his plane on auto pilot but he may have descended too low trying to see the field. I always pray when I go up because I know God lives and that I am human making mistakes. Now the chances of an engine quitting are probably a million to one while the chances of making it through marginal VFR conditions are 1 in 2, I would guess. What a life to lose. This should not have happened but I have been just as foolish flying my family in such weather. A report by a major national news organization on breast fed babies being less likely to be overweight is adding to my long list of reasons that all babies should be breast fed, sugar in formula addict’s babies. The affects of sugar may follow any child to the outcome of its life. I believe to breast feed a baby is a vitally important thing. God's way is the only way to live. Live for Him. The signs of Satan manifest themselves in smoke and in words that emit evil. What good is money or a good name if the soul is bound for Hell? From the time you decide to sin until judgment is very short. Pray for yourself and be in touch with God for everlasting.
